Your line manager will give you a Welcome Call before you join Lidl. This is a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you have so that you have everything you need for your new career at Lidl. On this call your line manager will make sure you know your roster for your first week.
Your salary is paid to you monthly, on the last working day of the month. For example, if the 31st falls on a Friday, you will receive payment on the Friday.

The time you are due on shift will be detailed on your training plan.
Your first day will be at a Welcome Event, either at the Regional Distribution Centre, Store or Head Office. The dress code at the Welcome Event is smart casual and you can wear your own clothes. You will receive uniform at your Welcome Event.
You will be assigned a locker for your personal belongings.
The Store Manager, or your buddy will be on hand to welcome you into the store on your first day. If the Store Manager / Deputy Logistics Manager is not available, a Deputy Manager or Shift Manager will be on hand to assist you on your first day. The buddy is there to support you during your onboarding period.
You will receive a fob or clocking in card (if you are working within the Warehouse) at the Welcome Event on your first day. Please bring this with you daily. You will be shown how to clock in and out, which records your working times.
If you are working in the Regional Distribution Centre or Head Office, there is parking on site. If you are working in the store, please check with your line manager if there is onsite parking. Please note, not all stores have parking facilities. If your store does, your Store Manager can add your car registration to the system.
